MH-1 Mid-HF Horn

The LAX^® MH-1 mid-high horn features a very high output, horn loaded 10" (250 mm) with a 2" (51mm) voice coil, mid-range POPE Professional^® transducer and a 1.4" (36mm) Throat POPE Professional^® compression driver mounted to an adjustable pan and tilt bracket. The MH-1 facilitates external active crossover for bi-amp operation for the mid and high sections. The MH-1 provides extended frequency coverage for the all-important midrange band. A 10" ultra linear transducer with high sensitivity and allows the unit to operate as low as 250 Hz and the state of art phase plug coupling allows an external active crossover point of up to 1.8 KHz to the high-frequency horn. This ensures that most of the dialog range is reproduced by a single transducer and with ultra linear intelligibility. The 10" driver being ultra linear from 150 Hz to 2 Khz, there is no factory EQ settings applied for the mid-section, hence, all the content is reproduced faithfully without any coloration, whatsoever.
