Originating from a humble family of farmers through various generations, since the year 1873, paddy and rice crops have been integrated into our daily lives and business. In the village of Keeripatti, rice crops were planted and grown in our fields with care. The paddy that was harvested was taken to the markets in Shevapet, Salem, in bullock carts by our great-grandfather for more than 25 years.
Mr. Perumal, father of Mr. Ganapathy, had been involved in the sales of paddy crops and other whole grains for many years, taking crops from the farming fields of Keeripatti to the bustling markets of Salem and Attur
Growing up in a farming family, Mr. Ganapathy, the Founder of Revathi Modern Rice Mill and Revathi Hi-Tech Modern Rice Mill, had seen his father handle rice crops even since he was young. As he grew older, he had taken up the tedious task of turning the fine paddy crops into rice that can be consumed. Through various experiments of trial and error over the years, he had developed the right technique to process the paddy crops to produce the highest quality of rice grains.
In the beginning, due to lack of infrastructure and machineries, only 5 bags of rice grains could be processed at the end of a day. But what started as 5 sacks of rice grew into 10 sacks, 15 sacks, 20 sacks, etc., and grew into the development of our rice mill. Today, we produce around tonnages of rice per day, striving to put out only the healthiest and finest quality of rice grains.
Having handled paddy crops, rice, and related products for more than 125 years, we are pioneers in choosing the best quality of crops and paddy to ensure our products are made from high-quality raw materials and resources.
