Gnana Guru Saaktha Sri Sivalingeeswara Swamigal is the one, who created Kaamachipuri Adeenam. From his younger days, he is a hard believer of the Godess Sri Annai Parasakthi. At his house, he took two stones, used to grind mirchi, as Lord Siva. He built a small hut, which he considered as the temple for the Lord Siva. He gathered all the youngsters, around that village, and performed all the pujaas, for the Lord. At that time, he was 8 years old. On seeing this attitude, his parents buried the statue of the Lord, under the ground, and also sent all the pujaa materials to another near by temple. They gave all sorts of trouble to Gnana Guru, in order to stop him from performing pujaas, to the God, but insisted him to go to school.
But Swamigal installed the statue of Lord Siva, at the foot of a snake living place, located at the side of the river Noyyal, at the village Kaamaachipuri,. And started worshipping the God, One day, God appeared in his dream, , spotted a place, under the river Noyyal, and said that a statue of Godess Amman is in that place.
Next day morning , Swamigal went to the same place ,spotted by the God and found Godess Amman statue. Nearly 10 years, the troubles, and strong protests, Swamigal , experienced, has become the reality. There after, the nearby village people started believing Swami’s words, and started worshipping the Godess Amman. Swamigal cured many diseases of the people, with the help of salt and turmarine(manjal).
At his age of 25. Swamigal performed (Cow poojaa) Co- maatha poojaa, keeping 108 cows. He left his home, parents and relatives, and became Sanyasi. He is working for the development of Tamil culture, Social culture, teaching the public the important aspects of our Hinduism and for the inception of love towards our nation and among public.
In a short duration, without having any of the ancestors property or experience and guidance in the field of God worship, but, only depending upon his own hard work, faith and pleasing mentality, Swamigal, at present, is performing poojaas, to the world ruling Godess Annai, in a way, well praised by all. Monthly full moon poojaas, weekly prayers and worships, an annual ten day festival for Godess, , once in a year, conducting religious endowment meetings and training classes, constant and periodical development in temple works, maintenance of house for orphanage children, house for aged people are looked after in a well praised manner by Swamigal.
Going round and worshipping 136 Vinayagas, once, will take only one minute. All your activities will be successful, if you worship Vinagar, by breaking the coconut.
AmmanAlong with AMMAN, two of the NAVA(9) GRAHAS, namely RAGU and KETHU,A BIRD, KARRUPAR SWAMY, 7 KANNIMARS ,and MARRIAMMAN are depicted, in this Siddar peedam. In one hand Amma is holding a (Gadathi) weapon and killing (surasamhara) the Rakshasa Mikidan, like Maha Kali.
By going round this siddar peedam and offering dried mirchi to this amman, all your sins (Dosham) will leave you. All the sins and curses of your ancestors will be removed. Enemies will go away. Hurdles in marriages will be removed.
Iyyappan temple is constructed with the usual 18 steps and Iyappan in sitting form. He removes all sins and hurdles of the devotees, who pray him
Praying and worshipping a cow removes all your sins. Giving grass to the cow, for eating is the greatest (Dharma.) offerings.

AdhinamOn every full moon day of each month, Nava Sakthi Yagam will be performed in front of Annai. Annai will be taken around the temple on procession and a Jothi will be littered on the top of the pillar. Thousands of devotees come to the temple on this day, see the Jothi and then go to Annai temple for worshipping and get Her Blessings
All those, who posses continuous sorrow, continued difficulties, loans, not having a good health and not having a peace of mind, must come on saturdays and participate in the SANEESWARA SANTHI POOJAA. There is no fees for this prayer. All their sins, sorrows and sufferings will go away from them. They should lit yell theebam. Thevaram songs will be sung by aashrama children during this pooja and prayed by them, for the welfare of those, who reserve earlier.
Daily at 7AM, Ganapathy Omamam will be performed, at this place,. Cow’s ghee, fire wood can be given, for Yagam. Your birth days and your marriage days can be celebrated here for this Yagam, for those, who reserve in advance. They will be seated in front of the Yaga and Ganapathy Ommam will be performed. You yourself can perform poojas to Ganapthy and get His blessings. Food and prasaadam will be given after the poojaa. No fees need to pay for this. Only advanced reservation is necessary.
PERIANAYAGI PECHIAMMAN possesses a power of 9 Durgas added together. Worshipping Her on Fridays with milk and coconut water, putting cow’s butter on the child, who is held by Amman hands, going round Amman 9 times and then eating that butter as medicine cures women and will give them baby, for those who cannot deliver baby.

All the 12 JOTHIR LINGAS are brought from Important Siva temples. The main Sivalingam Staue, made up of mud. The mud was from AMIRTHA KADESAR THIRUKADAVUR. Elders above 60 years of age, can perform poojaas by offering VILVA LEAF and water, which increases their life with good health.
AdhinamOn every Friday at 11 AM, Gnana Guru performs Sivanandha Yagam with full heart content. .By this, life with a full peace of mind is attained and life can be lead with good faith. All misfortunes will leave.
56 Statues of National and Important Devotees and world leaders are displayed on the side walls of this Mandapam. Statues of 8 direction indicating children, 9( Nava)grahas,
8 versions of Lakhmi’s ( Ashta Lakshmis), 8 versions of dances and 9 forms of Durga are displayed at the ceiling of this Mandapam.
Statues of 10 (Thirumal) forms of SRI VISHNU are displayed, with KALKI Avathar in centre. Worshipping with TULASI leaf will give good wealth.
Daily, Guru Maha Sannidanam performs poojaas here, during mornings and evenings. Siva lingam made with precious stone (SPADIGA LINGAM) is installed, along with ANGALLAPARAMESWARI AMMAN and with all vaganas.
Breakfast, Mid day meals, Night dinner will be served to all devotees, after performing all poojaas and worshipping all Gods. Devotees are asked to give at least one measure of rice to this illam and get Annapurni’s Blessings.
